Designing Operations for Net Zero
In supporting Australia’s clean energy transition, we designed strategic frameworks to coordinate regional economic transformation and advance national net zero objectives. Our work established practical pathways for communities and industries impacted by power station closures, ensuring an efficient and equitable transition.
Business operations planning
We developed a comprehensive operational guide for the agency’s Community of Interest process, including detailed standard operating procedures, templates, and project management tools.
Cross-government collaboration
We designed an integrated governance structure to facilitate coordination between multiple government departments, ensuring aligned decision-making and efficient resource allocation.
Stakeholder engagement and community consultation
We created a consultation strategy that mapped existing engagement efforts and identified gaps, ensuring affected communities were appropriately involved in the transition process.
Risk assessment and management
We implemented a three-tiered risk management approach, including program-level, project-level, and environmental scanning tools to identify and mitigate potential issues.
Training and capability building
We developed training packages and educational materials to ensure all staff could implement new procedures and processes effectively.
